How We’ve Been Able to Help

“The Child Advocacy Center provided a completely calming place for my daughter to disclose the secret of what she had endured for years. The CAC’s guidance has been invaluable on many, many occasions. Thank heaven there is such a place when any child and family is faced with the horrors of child abuse.”

A Loving Parent

“The CAC fosters equality and mutual respect among all members of the multi-disciplinary team; allowing them to come together to combine their strengths and objectives in such a manner that proves not only successful, but also safe and supportive for the families they serve.”

Andrea Kegelman

Detective, Lebanon Police Department

“When we discovered that our 15 year old daughter had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by her grandfather, our world fell apart. As a family we were in crisis, and the CAC provided not only comfort and compassion, but also expertise in an area so foreign to us. The CAC made it possible for our child to be interviewed in a very safe, confidential environment. And that interview became a very important part of the prosecutor’s case at the trial. During the 18 months that our case progressed through the legal system, the CAC was only a phone call away. They listened … they understood.”
