Parents/Caregivers

You Are Not Alone

As a parent, finding out that your child has been abused can be the worst experience you will have. Any parent whose child is harmed will have to struggle with their own feelings about what happened. The single most important factor affecting a child’s recovery and healing is the level of support from parents/caregivers.

Child Abuse is not a topic people like to talk about and as a parent/caregiver something we may want to ignore. It is important to KNOW that abuse can happen to someone you love. It is never a child’s fault.
