Beards for Bucks October 2017
To bring awareness to the work of Child Advocacy Centers, a number of Police Chiefs have authorized their officers to grow beards, mustaches or goatees during the month of October. These officers are proud of the great work of the Child Advocacy Center and want to thank you for supporting them in their efforts!
We are especially proud of our Board member, Nicole Ledoux, with support from Chief Willard at the Manchester Police Department for launching Beards for Bucks statewide! Over 45 law enforcement agencies participated this year raising over $60,000 on behalf on New Hampshire’s Child Advocacy Centers. We are so thankful to our partners in Law enforcement and members of the community for supporting the work of Child Advocacy Centers across this Granite State.

New Hampshire’s Child Advocacy Centers Launch KNOW & TELL
For every child victim who finds the courage to report their abuse, we know that 9 do not. Statistics show only 1 in 10 incidents of child abuse is ever reported. The Granite State Children’s Alliance is excited to launch KNOW & TELL, an initiative to say something when adults see something to protect our children.
Child Advocacy Centers in New Hampshire Served Over 2,300 Children in 2015
Statistics compiled by the Granite State Children’s Alliance show that New Hampshire’s Child Advocacy Centers saw an increase of 33% from the year before, serving 2,359 child victims of crime.

He has consistently demonstrated a commitment to ensuring justice and healing for New Hampshire’s most vulnerable by his support of Child Advocacy Centers and the multidisciplinary team response to crimes against children.CAC-Press-Release-Everyday-Hero-2016
Past Statewide Everyday Hero Awards have been Senator Kelly Ayotte and Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Both Senators have been dedicated to the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing and loving home and understand that efforts to prevent child abuse must be waged alongside a commitment to provide a safe environment where victims can begin the process of healing
